Appunti Digitali is one of the longest-running independent online publications in Italy, dedicated to technology, innovation, and digital culture. Born in the mid-2000s, it is a reference point for enthusiasts and industry professionals, thanks to a critical and educational approach that explores topics related to IT, hardware, open source, and web culture.
Challenge
The website, online for almost twenty years, had an outdated infrastructure and difficulties in content management. The challenge was to migrate the entire editorial archive to a modern platform, improving performance without altering the project’s identity and digital memory.
Solution
We migrated the site to WordPress, optimizing the structure and database to ensure extremely fast loading times and simplified content management. The new website preserves the historic identity of Appunti Digitali, but with a technological foundation that is modern, SEO-friendly, and exceptionally high-performing, ready to support another twenty years of online publishing.
