Fondazione Ugo Mulas is a cultural institution dedicated to the memory and promotion of the work of the great Italian photographer Ugo Mulas, famous for his portraits of artists and reportage documenting the international art scene. Creating the website for a photographer of such significance is a source of great pride: it represents an opportunity to celebrate a master of Italian photography and contribute to the dissemination of his visual and cultural legacy.
Challenge
The brief required a highly customized WordPress website, focused on the elegant presentation of archival images. It had to respect the rigorous aesthetic and historic identity of the Foundation, while ensuring fast loading, simple navigation, and compatibility with high-quality visual content.
